A professional lighting company born in the field
SOS-Light is a Swiss company specializing in professional lighting solutions, founded in 2021 following hands-on experience in the field. Before the company was founded, Karan worked as a project manager and regularly collaborated with lighting suppliers. What he found was a frequent failure to listen and adapt to real project needs: standardized solutions, inflexible deadlines and limited understanding of technical constraints.
With this in mind, the idea of SOS-Light was born: to create a partner capable of understanding the requirements of building professionals and offering reliable, tailor-made lighting solutions adapted to the realities of the worksite. SOS-Light is aimed at professionals who know exactly what they are looking for, but also at those who need guidance in their technical and aesthetic choices.

SOS-Light’s mission is to support professionals in the success of their lighting projects, from design to implementation.
We work with architects, electricians, project managers and builders, both public and private, to provide professional
lighting and emergency lighting solutions that comply with Swiss standards. Each project is carefully studied to meet technical, aesthetic, energy and regulatory requirements.
Whether the need is clearly defined or still to be structured, our role is to provide clarity, advice and high-performance solutions. Lighting studies, luminaire selection, compliance with standards, control of deadlines and costs: SOS-Light acts as a reliable and responsive lighting partner.
In five years, we have supported over 100 professionals and carried out more than 500 lighting projects in the cantons of Geneva, Vaud, Valais, Neuchâtel, Fribourg, Basel and Schwyz. Based in Switzerland, SOS-Light works with public and private-sector customers throughout these regions, taking into account the specific local features and regulations of each canton.
